You can choose from a variety of available paper stocks. The paper you choose should match the type of book you’re printing. Below you’ll see a brief description of how each paper feels and which types of books match it best! Each book printer is different but below we’ve outlined our most popular paper choices for book printing.

80gsm – popular with all book types
80gsm paper is great for every type of book. From academic material to auto-biographies. This is our most popular paper selection for mono (black and white) book printing.
100gsm – mixing mono and colour books
100gsm is our white-coated paper that’s ideal for both colour and mono printing. This is a medium weight paper that’s great for books with a mix of images and text.
115gsm – high-quality colour books
115gsm is a premium-finish coated paper with a slightly glossy feel. It’s a medium thickness paper that holds colour extremely well. If you have a thicker book with lots of colour pages, this is the paper to choose for printing your book.
150gsm – ideal for a photography book
150gsm is a high-quality, premium paper that’s perfect for colour. If you’re printing wedding photos or want to show off your photography, this is your best choice.
